I don't know if I have depression?


I visited a psychiatrist because I often feel suddenly very sad.
When I see certain people, events, or objects, I have thoughts of destruction and killing.
When I feel agitated, I constantly want to wash items and arrange them neatly.
Sometimes, I find myself slightly dissociated, and when I come to, I realize I have a knife in my hand.
I have also experienced a strong desire to disappear and a persistent urge to sleep.
During my visit to the psychiatrist, the doctor did not inform me whether I have depression, but prescribed me Venlafaxine extended-release tablets.
However, I am unsure if I have depression.
Therefore, I am inquiring about this.
