Several black spots have appeared on the penis?
Hello, I noticed a small, faint black spot in the middle of the surface of my penis the day after I engaged in masturbation two days ago.
Additionally, I found two more black spots that appeared suddenly on the right side.
I'm not entirely sure if they were there before, as I hadn't paid much attention to them previously.
My inquiry is based on the sudden appearance of these spots.
They resemble moles and feel flat to the touch, without any raised areas, pain, or discomfort, and each is less than 0.5 centimeters in diameter.
I would like to ask the doctor for their opinion on these suddenly appearing black spots.
Are they indicative of a medical condition, or could they be related to melanin deposition? Furthermore, if I need to see a doctor, should I go to a dermatologist or a urologist? Lastly, I've been masturbating almost every day for the past month (to clarify, this is the first time I've engaged in this activity, and I've been doing it daily since).
Given that three black spots have suddenly appeared, I find it a bit strange and would like to know if there could be any connection between these spots and my recent activities.

Without actually seeing the lesion, it is difficult to make a definitive diagnosis.
If you are very concerned, please seek medical attention as soon as possible.
You may start by consulting a urologist.

The sudden appearance of black spots on the penis can be concerning, and it's understandable that you are seeking clarity on this issue. Based on your description, the black spots you are observing are small, flat, and not painful, which can suggest several possibilities.
One common cause of such spots is benign skin changes, such as hyperpigmentation or the development of nevi (moles). These can occur due to various factors, including genetics, sun exposure, or hormonal changes. In some cases, they may appear suddenly, especially if you have not closely monitored the area before. Hyperpigmentation can also result from friction or irritation, which may be relevant given your recent increase in sexual activity.
Another possibility is the presence of a condition known as a seborrheic keratosis, which is a non-cancerous skin growth that can appear as a brown, black, or tan spot. These are generally harmless and do not require treatment unless they become bothersome or change in appearance.
However, it is crucial to consider other potential causes, including sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or other dermatological conditions. For instance, certain STIs can cause changes in the skin, including the appearance of spots or lesions. While the spots you describe do not seem to be symptomatic of an infection (as they are not painful or itchy), it is still wise to rule out any underlying conditions.
In terms of which specialist to consult, both dermatologists and urologists can address skin-related concerns in the genital area. A dermatologist specializes in skin conditions and may be more adept at diagnosing and treating skin lesions, while a urologist focuses on urinary tract and male reproductive health. If you are primarily concerned about the skin aspect, starting with a dermatologist might be beneficial. However, if you have any urinary symptoms or concerns about sexual health, a urologist would be appropriate.
Regarding your question about whether the increase in masturbation could be related to the appearance of these spots, it is unlikely that this activity directly causes such changes in the skin. However, increased friction or irritation from frequent masturbation could potentially lead to skin changes, including irritation or minor injuries that may heal with pigmentation changes.
In summary, while the sudden appearance of black spots on the penis can be alarming, many potential causes are benign. It is essential to have a healthcare professional evaluate the spots to ensure an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. If the spots change in appearance, become painful, or if you develop any other symptoms, seek medical attention promptly. Regular self-examinations and awareness of your body can help you notice changes early, which is beneficial for your overall health.
