When I was in elementary school, I experienced a burning sensation while urinating.
After researching online, I learned that I had a urinary tract infection (UTI).
Could you please tell me if a UTI can affect the bladder, renal pelvis, and prostate, and cause nocturia that impacts sleep? When I was sixteen, I drank a lot of water daily (which may have increased my nocturia), and it wasn't until I was eighteen that my urine became cloudy, prompting me to see a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.
The practitioner said that my excessive indulgence led to relaxation of the urethra.
After taking herbal medicine for two days, I no longer experienced post-void residual urine, and my entire urinary system improved.
However, I am only 169 cm tall, and I really want to grow to 170 cm.
Could nocturia potentially affect my sleep quality and hinder my growth?
