Hello doctor, my girlfriend has been experiencing frequent bloating for several weeks now, and she mentioned that it has happened before.
Often, the bloating lasts all day, and occasionally she experiences dry heaving, sometimes feeling like she might vomit.
She also feels a warm discomfort in her esophagus and has recently noticed a strange sensation in her throat.
Previously, she took medications like Simethicone and Ranitidine (alternating between the two), but they didn't work very well.
Recently, she visited a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner due to a hand injury, and during the consultation, she mentioned her bloating issue.
The practitioner added gastrointestinal medication to her treatment, and initially, her bloating improved significantly.
However, it returned yesterday.
