There is a protruding foreign body on the foreskin?
About 1 to 2 months ago, I noticed a raised bump on my foreskin.
I thought it was a pimple, but it hasn't become inflamed.
I didn't pay much attention to it since it doesn't hurt or itch, but it still hasn't gone away.
It feels hard to the touch.
Last time, I guessed it was a blackhead and tried to squeeze it, which caused bleeding, and it looked like a blackhead.
After the wound healed, it returned to its original state.
Today, during sexual intercourse, I felt slight pain and a sensation of a foreign object.
It was a bit painful.
Should I get it checked?

When it comes to a bump on the foreskin, especially one that has persisted for 1-2 months without signs of inflammation, it is important to approach the situation with caution. While you initially thought it might be a pimple, the fact that it has not resolved and has become hard to the touch warrants further investigation.
There are several potential causes for a bump on the foreskin, including but not limited to:
1. Pearly Penile Papules: These are small, harmless bumps that can appear around the corona of the glans and are often mistaken for other conditions. They are normal anatomical variations and do not require treatment.
2. Fordyce Spots: These are small, painless, pale bumps that are sebaceous glands without hair follicles. They are also harmless and do not require treatment.
3. Sebaceous Cysts: These can occur when a sebaceous gland becomes blocked, leading to a small, firm bump. They are usually painless but can become inflamed or infected.
4. Infections: Conditions such as genital warts, herpes, or other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can present as bumps or lesions on the foreskin. These may require medical attention and treatment.
5. Inflammatory Conditions: Conditions like balanitis (inflammation of the glans) or posthitis (inflammation of the foreskin) can cause bumps and discomfort.
6. Tumors: While less common, benign or malignant tumors can also present as bumps on the foreskin.
Given that you have experienced slight pain during sexual activity and the bump has not resolved, it is advisable to seek medical evaluation. A healthcare provider, preferably a urologist, can conduct a thorough examination and may perform tests such as a biopsy if necessary to determine the exact nature of the bump.
In terms of treatment, it will depend on the diagnosis. If it is a benign condition, reassurance and monitoring may be all that is needed. If it is an infection or another condition, appropriate medications or treatments can be prescribed.
In summary, while some bumps on the foreskin can be harmless, the persistence of your bump, the hardness, and the recent onset of pain during sexual activity suggest that it is prudent to consult a healthcare professional. Early evaluation can help rule out any serious conditions and provide peace of mind. Remember, it is always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to changes in your body, especially in sensitive areas.
