Chest tightness?
Hello Doctor: Last month, one night while I was running, I felt a slight pain in the center of my chest.
I had experienced this before, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
After finishing my run, I felt a bit uncomfortable, and after walking for a while, I started to have difficulty breathing and almost fainted.
I went to the hospital, where they performed an electrocardiogram (ECG) and said everything was fine.
In the following days, I experienced several episodes of shortness of breath and near-fainting, so I went to the hospital a few more times.
They conducted a chest X-ray, pulmonary function tests, and an ECG while I was running, and again, they said there was nothing wrong.
About a week later, those symptoms subsided, but I still felt a tightness in my chest, as if something was there.
Last week, I went to the hospital again and told the doctor that I felt a bit bloated after eating, but I did not have any acid reflux.
He prescribed me some medication for my stomach.
After taking the medication, I still felt discomfort in my chest, an indescribable sensation.
