Pain after retraction of the foreskin?


Hello, doctor.
I have phimosis, and a few months ago, after consulting at the outpatient clinic, I was told that circumcision was not necessary and that I could gradually retract the foreskin.
Now, when I am not erect, I can fully retract it behind the glans, but when I try to retract the foreskin behind the glans during an erection, the glans feels constricted and painful, and the frenulum area is very tight.
What should I do in this situation? I have been trying to retract it during erections for a few weeks, but there seems to be no improvement in the foreskin.
