Is this pregnancy or menstruation?

On October 19, my period started, and on October 20, I had protected intercourse.
I checked the condom afterward, and it was intact.
There was menstrual blood during the process.
My period continued until October 26.
I also inserted my fingers into my vagina, and there wasn't much blood, but my period continued afterward.
On November 17, I took a pregnancy test, which showed one line, indicating no pregnancy.
However, I am unsure if there was a faint second line.
Shouldn't a positive result be more obvious after two weeks? On November 17, I also inserted my fingers into my vagina, but I'm not sure if I touched the prostate or if my fingers had any residue.
On November 19, I felt like my period was about to start, and on November 20, my period came.
Initially, the flow was normal, but the color was lighter than before.
I experienced significant abdominal pain, and later the color became increasingly light.
That night, the blood resembled a light pink, unlike typical menstrual blood.
The next day, November 21, my period stopped, but I still had abdominal pain.
Could I be pregnant, or is there another issue? Since I had a negative pregnancy test on November 17, and if I inserted my fingers that day, implantation bleeding shouldn't occur so quickly.
What could be the problem? Is it just a case of irregular menstruation?

Understanding the complexities of pregnancy and menstruation can be challenging, especially when experiencing unusual symptoms. Based on your description, it seems you are navigating a confusing situation regarding your menstrual cycle and potential pregnancy. Let's break down the key points to help clarify your concerns.

Firstly, it’s important to note that the menstrual cycle can be influenced by various factors, including stress, hormonal changes, and physical health. The symptoms you are experiencing—such as changes in menstrual flow, abdominal pain, and the timing of your periods—could be attributed to these factors rather than pregnancy.

From your timeline, it appears that you had your menstrual period starting on October 19, and you engaged in sexual activity during this time. Since you mentioned that you used a condom and confirmed it did not break, the likelihood of pregnancy from that encounter is significantly reduced. Additionally, you reported having another menstrual period starting on November 20, which further suggests that your body is still functioning within its normal menstrual cycle.

You performed a pregnancy test on November 17, which showed one line, indicating a negative result. Pregnancy tests are generally reliable when taken after a missed period, and since you had a negative result at that time, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. If there were any doubts about the test, it is advisable to wait a few days and take another test, as the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) that pregnancy tests detect typically becomes more concentrated in urine as pregnancy progresses.

Regarding the symptoms of lighter menstrual flow and abdominal pain, these could be signs of hormonal fluctuations or even a condition known as dysmenorrhea, which is characterized by painful menstruation. The color and consistency of menstrual blood can vary from cycle to cycle and can be influenced by several factors, including hormonal changes, stress, and overall health. It is not uncommon for menstrual blood to appear lighter or different in color, especially if there are fluctuations in hormone levels.

If you continue to experience unusual symptoms, such as persistent abdominal pain or significant changes in your menstrual cycle, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare provider. They can perform a thorough evaluation, including a physical examination and possibly imaging or blood tests, to rule out any underlying conditions such as ovarian cysts, fibroids, or hormonal imbalances.

In summary, based on the information provided, it seems that you are likely experiencing normal variations in your menstrual cycle rather than signs of pregnancy. However, if you have ongoing concerns or if your symptoms worsen, seeking medical advice is the best course of action. Remember, your health and peace of mind are paramount, and a healthcare professional can provide the guidance and support you need.
