Is being too thin a problem?


When sleeping on my side, I feel a bone protrusion between my thigh and buttocks that causes pain when pressed.
I am currently very thin, weighing 53 kg at a height of 172 cm, and my skin feels like it is pressing against the bones.
Is it possible that being underweight is causing this issue, or could there be another reason? I have not experienced any sports injuries, and this problem has only arisen in the past few months.
