Hello: Blood in the semen with normal urine usually indicates that the bleeding is located in the ejaculation or seminal storage area.
It is advised to limit the frequency of masturbation or sexual activity.
If this condition recurs, please consult a urologist at the hospital.
Alfuzosin may help relax the prostate and bladder neck, which could be beneficial; however, it is still important to avoid excessive masturbation or sexual activity.
Wishing you good health.

Experiencing pink ejaculation without red urine can be concerning, and it’s understandable that you’re seeking clarity on this issue. The presence of pink or discolored semen can be attributed to several factors, and while it may not always indicate a serious problem, it’s essential to consider the underlying causes.
Firstly, the color change in semen can be due to the presence of blood, a condition known as hematospermia. This can occur for various reasons, including inflammation or infection of the prostate (prostatitis), seminal vesicles, or urethra. Other potential causes include trauma to the genital area, certain medical conditions, or even benign issues such as a recent sexual activity that may have caused minor irritation or injury.
Since you mentioned that your urine is clear and not red, this could suggest that the source of the discoloration is localized to the reproductive system rather than the urinary tract. It’s also worth noting that the pink coloration may not always indicate a significant health issue, especially if it is a one-time occurrence. However, if it persists, it is crucial to seek further evaluation.
The medication you were prescribed, likely an antibiotic or anti-inflammatory, is typically aimed at addressing any underlying infection or inflammation. It’s essential to follow your doctor’s instructions regarding the medication. If the pink ejaculation resolves with the treatment, it may indicate that the issue was indeed related to an infection or inflammation that the medication is effectively addressing.
However, if the pink coloration continues or if you experience additional symptoms such as pain, discomfort, or changes in urinary habits, it’s important to return to your healthcare provider for further evaluation. Additional tests, such as a semen analysis or imaging studies, may be warranted to rule out more serious conditions.
In summary, while pink ejaculation without red urine can be alarming, it is often manageable and treatable. The key is to monitor your symptoms and maintain open communication with your healthcare provider. If the condition persists or worsens, do not hesitate to seek further medical advice. Your health and peace of mind are paramount, and understanding the cause of your symptoms is an important step in ensuring your well-being.
