There are unknown lumps on the penis?
Since last year, I have noticed large bumps on my scrotum, with many of them present.
There are also small bumps on my penis, which are tiny and appear in clusters.
Additionally, there are bumps under the glans, forming a row.
All of these are white, and they are painless and itch-free.
What could be the cause?

Commonly seen "Fordyce spots" on the foreskin and "pearly penile papules" in the coronal sulcus.
It is recommended that you search online to see if they resemble your condition.
Of course, if you have any concerns, it is still advisable to seek medical attention.

When it comes to unexplained bumps on the penis and scrotum, there are several potential causes that should be considered. Given your description of the bumps being painless, non-itchy, and not causing any discomfort, it is essential to approach this matter with a careful evaluation of possible conditions.
1. Pearly Penile Papules: One common benign condition that can present as small, painless bumps on the penis is pearly penile papules. These are small, dome-shaped, white or flesh-colored bumps that typically appear around the corona of the glans (the head of the penis). They are completely normal anatomical variations and do not require treatment.
2. Sebaceous Cysts: Another possibility is sebaceous cysts, which are small lumps that can occur on the skin of the scrotum or penis. These cysts are filled with a fatty substance and are usually harmless. They can vary in size and may appear as small, firm bumps.
3. Fordyce Spots: These are small, painless, pale bumps that can appear on the shaft of the penis and are caused by enlarged sebaceous glands. They are a normal anatomical variant and do not require any treatment.
4. Genital Warts: Caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), genital warts can appear as small, flesh-colored or white bumps. They may be flat or raised and can sometimes cluster together. If you notice any changes in the texture or appearance of the bumps, or if new symptoms develop, it would be wise to consult a healthcare provider.
5. Folliculitis: This condition occurs when hair follicles become inflamed, often due to infection. It can lead to small, red bumps that may be itchy or painful, but in some cases, it can be asymptomatic.
6. Other Skin Conditions: Conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or contact dermatitis can also lead to bumps or lesions on the genital area. These may be associated with other symptoms like itching or irritation.
7. Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs): While the bumps you describe are painless and not itchy, it’s important to consider the possibility of STIs, especially if there has been any change in sexual partners or practices. Conditions like herpes or syphilis can present with bumps or sores, although they are typically associated with other symptoms.
Given the variety of potential causes, it is crucial to seek a professional evaluation from a healthcare provider, preferably a dermatologist or urologist. They can perform a physical examination, take a detailed history, and, if necessary, conduct tests to determine the exact nature of the bumps.
In the meantime, avoid self-diagnosing or attempting to treat the bumps without professional guidance. It is also advisable to maintain good hygiene and avoid any irritants that may exacerbate the condition. If you notice any changes in the bumps, such as increased size, color change, or the development of pain or itching, seek medical attention promptly.
In summary, while many bumps on the penis and scrotum can be benign and harmless, it is always best to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out any serious conditions and to receive appropriate advice tailored to your specific situation.
