Epididymitis and pain during ejaculation?

A few days ago, I experienced pain in my undescended testicle and today I saw a doctor.
An ultrasound showed that I have epididymitis.
The physician said that my testicles looked clean, but they still want to do a blood test to check for cancer.
However, I did not mention to the doctor that I experience pain after masturbation.
The pain is located in the perineum, below the testicles, and in the penis.

1.
I would like to ask if the pain during ejaculation is significantly related to epididymitis.
2.
Could the pain during ejaculation be due to excessive masturbation?
3.
What types of cancer could cause pain during ejaculation? What is the likelihood of me developing cancer at the age of 15?

Hello: 1.
I would like to ask if pain during ejaculation is significantly related to the epididymis --> If there is no severe inflammation, it should not be related.
2.
Could pain during ejaculation be due to excessive masturbation? --> It is possible.
3.
What cancers are associated with pain during ejaculation? What is the probability of me having it at 15 years old? --> A clinical examination is necessary to determine, but the chances are very low.
Wishing you good health.

More Info

Understanding painful ejaculation can be complex, especially when associated with conditions like epididymitis. Based on your description, it seems you have been diagnosed with epididymitis, which is an inflammation of the epididymis, a tube that stores and carries sperm. This condition can indeed be related to painful ejaculation, and I will address your questions in detail.

1. Is painful ejaculation related to epididymitis?
Yes, painful ejaculation can be significantly related to epididymitis. The inflammation and swelling of the epididymis can lead to discomfort during ejaculation. The pain you experience may stem from the pressure and irritation in the surrounding tissues, including the prostate and seminal vesicles, which are involved in the ejaculation process. Inflammation in these areas can cause pain that radiates to the perineum (the area between the scrotum and the anus), the testicles, and the penis during ejaculation.

2. Can excessive masturbation cause painful ejaculation?
While excessive masturbation itself is not a direct cause of painful ejaculation, it can lead to temporary irritation or inflammation of the reproductive organs, including the epididymis. If you are engaging in frequent or vigorous masturbation, it may contribute to discomfort or exacerbate existing conditions like epididymitis. It is essential to listen to your body; if you notice pain during or after ejaculation, it may be a sign to reduce the frequency or intensity of your activities.

3. What cancers could be associated with painful ejaculation, and what is the risk at 15 years old?
Painful ejaculation is not typically a direct symptom of cancer. However, in rare cases, conditions like testicular cancer or prostate cancer can present with symptoms that may include pain during ejaculation. At the age of 15, the likelihood of developing such cancers is extremely low. Testicular cancer is more common in younger males, but it usually presents with a lump or swelling in the testicle rather than pain during ejaculation. Prostate cancer is rare in individuals under 40.
It's important to note that while cancer is a concern, the symptoms you are experiencing are more likely related to the inflammation from epididymitis rather than malignancy. Your doctor’s decision to conduct blood tests is a precautionary measure to rule out any serious conditions, but the chances of cancer at your age are minimal.

Additional Considerations
If you continue to experience painful ejaculation, it is crucial to follow up with your healthcare provider. They may recommend further evaluation, including imaging studies or referrals to a urologist, to ensure that there are no underlying issues that need to be addressed. Treatment for epididymitis often includes antibiotics if an infection is present, and managing inflammation can help alleviate pain.

In the meantime, consider practicing safe sexual habits, including moderation in masturbation and ensuring proper hygiene, as these can help reduce the risk of developing further complications. If you notice any changes in your symptoms, such as increased pain, swelling, or any new symptoms, do not hesitate to seek medical attention promptly.

In summary, while painful ejaculation can be related to epididymitis, it is essential to monitor your symptoms and communicate openly with your healthcare provider to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.
