Sudden onset of discomfort?
Hello Doctor, I suddenly felt a dull aching pain on the right side of my chest (near the center) before going to bed at night.
This sensation extended to my upper back on the right side and even to my waist (the discomfort in my right chest was less noticeable).
Sitting and resting alleviated the pain somewhat, but lying down still caused discomfort, and I was unable to change positions or turn over.
I would like to know if this could be a manifestation of intercostal neuralgia, as the uncomfortable feeling resembles nerve pain.
Additionally, I have been staying up late recently and have been sitting for long periods due to my menstrual cycle.
