Unexplained skin itching?
In recent weeks, my skin has been experiencing unexplained itching.
When I scratch the itchy areas, they turn red and develop bumps that resemble mosquito bites, even though I haven't been bitten.
After a while, the itching subsides and the bumps fade away.
There was an instance where I had four or five small bumps clustered together on my hand, but they weren't itchy.
Another time, I had raised, itchy welts on my leg.
The itching can occur on my legs, arms, or collarbone, and sometimes on the top of my foot.
The locations vary, but they typically present as bumps similar to mosquito bites, sometimes small and red.
Yesterday, the right side of my left leg and the right side of my right leg were very itchy.
After scratching, those areas became completely red and developed small pimple-like spots.
After a while, the itching stopped, but some of the small spots on the right side of my right leg remain.
I would like to know if this could indicate any underlying medical condition.
