Severe nocturnal emissions?
Hello doctor, I have been experiencing severe nocturnal emissions and seminal leakage for a year.
The physician diagnosed me with significant yin and yang deficiency, with a frequency of once a week.
However, after a year of treatment, there has been little improvement.
I also suffer from severe halitosis due to this deficiency, which greatly affects my daily life, making me reluctant to go out.
I have even attempted suicide, but my family found out and took me to the hospital.
Every day feels like a year.
Currently, I am considering undergoing a vasectomy.
If that doesn’t work, I might have to resort to having my testicles removed.
The vasectomy is scheduled for next month.
I wonder if the doctor has any other suggestions.
I am still quite young, and with this condition, I feel like I could win the lottery.
I really wish I didn’t have a penis or testicles.

Dear Mr.
Wang Jianmin,
Hello.
I can deeply sense your pain from your description.
It seems that your condition is quite complex, and I recommend a collaborative treatment approach involving both Western and traditional Chinese medicine.
You should first consult a urologist in Western medicine to check for any organic issues in the urogenital system.
After that, consider visiting a psychiatrist to see if psychological counseling might help alleviate your distress.
As for traditional Chinese medicine, since I am not specialized in urogenital issues, I suggest you seek assistance from Dr.
Ou Shicheng at the Chinese Medicine Department of China Medical University Hospital.
He holds a Ph.D.
in biomolecular science from Tsinghua University and specializes in urology and andrology.
Wishing you peace and health.
Sincerely,
Dr.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing such distressing symptoms. It sounds like you're dealing with a complex and challenging situation regarding your health, particularly with severe nocturnal emissions and the associated feelings of anxiety and hopelessness. Let's break down your concerns and explore potential solutions.
Severe nocturnal emissions, or "wet dreams," can be a source of embarrassment and anxiety for many individuals, especially when they occur frequently or are accompanied by other symptoms like bad breath and feelings of weakness. It's important to understand that while nocturnal emissions are a normal physiological phenomenon, experiencing them at a frequency that disrupts your daily life can be concerning.
From what you've described, it seems that your healthcare provider has suggested that your symptoms may be related to a condition known as "yin and yang deficiency," which is a concept from traditional Chinese medicine. This condition is thought to involve an imbalance in the body's energy systems, leading to various physical and emotional symptoms. While traditional Chinese medicine can offer valuable insights and treatments, it's crucial to also consider a comprehensive approach that includes modern medical perspectives.
Here are some suggestions that may help you manage your symptoms more effectively:
1. Consult a Specialist: If you haven't already, consider seeking a consultation with a urologist or an endocrinologist. These specialists can provide a thorough evaluation of your reproductive health and hormonal levels, which may be contributing to your symptoms.
2. Psychological Support: Given the emotional toll that your symptoms have taken on you, it may be beneficial to speak with a mental health professional. Therapy can help you process your feelings, develop coping strategies, and address any underlying anxiety or depression that may be exacerbating your physical symptoms.
3. Lifestyle Modifications: Pay attention to your diet, exercise, and sleep patterns. A balanced diet rich in nutrients, regular physical activity, and adequate sleep can help improve your overall health and may reduce the frequency of nocturnal emissions. Avoiding stimulants like caffeine and alcohol, especially before bedtime, can also be beneficial.
4. Medication Review: If you are currently taking medications for your symptoms, discuss with your doctor whether these medications could be contributing to your issues. There may be alternative treatments available that could be more effective for you.
5. Alternative Therapies: Some individuals find relief through acupuncture, herbal medicine, or other alternative therapies. If you're open to it, consider exploring these options with a qualified practitioner.
6. Surgical Options: While you mentioned considering a vasectomy or even orchiectomy (removal of the testicles), these are significant surgical interventions that should be approached with caution. It's essential to discuss the potential risks and benefits of these procedures with your healthcare provider and ensure that all other options have been thoroughly explored.
7. Support Groups: Connecting with others who are experiencing similar issues can provide emotional support and practical advice. Look for local or online support groups focused on sexual health or mental wellness.
It's understandable to feel overwhelmed and hopeless at times, but please remember that there are options available to you. It's crucial to continue seeking help and to communicate openly with your healthcare providers about your symptoms and concerns. You deserve to feel better and to have a fulfilling life. Don't hesitate to reach out for support from friends, family, or professionals who can help you navigate this challenging time.
