There are small white bumps at the vaginal opening?

Two days ago, I applied a whitening skincare product from HH, and since that night, I have been experiencing itching in my genital area, which only eased by yesterday afternoon.
Out of curiosity, I checked at home and found many small white bumps around the vaginal opening, which are painful to touch.
There are a lot of them, surrounding the vaginal opening, and sometimes there is a foul odor, while other times it is not as noticeable.
Now, I feel slight pain when using the restroom, and when I rub against one of the bumps, there is a little bit of blood on the toilet paper.
Last Monday, I had unprotected sexual intercourse.
I have polycystic ovary syndrome and am undergoing treatment.
My last menstrual period started on January 18 and lasted for seven days.

In more severe cases, it may lead to abdominal pain or fever.
"Treatment methods" vary depending on the symptoms and require proper health education.

More Info

Based on your description, it sounds like you may be experiencing a condition that could be related to a few different factors, including irritation from the skin care product you used, a possible yeast infection, or another type of infection. The presence of white bumps around the vaginal opening, along with itching, pain, and occasional odor, suggests that you should seek medical attention for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Possible Causes
1. Irritation or Allergic Reaction: The use of a skin care product, especially one that is not specifically formulated for the genital area, can lead to irritation or an allergic reaction. This can manifest as redness, itching, and the formation of small bumps. If the product contains harsh chemicals or fragrances, it may disrupt the natural balance of the vaginal flora, leading to discomfort.

2. Yeast Infection: The symptoms you describe, including itching, pain, and the presence of white bumps, could indicate a yeast infection (candidiasis). Yeast infections are common and can occur when there is an overgrowth of Candida, a type of fungus that normally resides in the vagina. Symptoms often include itching, a thick white discharge, and irritation.

3. Bacterial Vaginosis (BV): This condition occurs when there is an imbalance in the normal bacteria found in the vagina. BV can cause symptoms such as a fishy odor, itching, and unusual discharge. The presence of bumps and pain could also be associated with this condition.

4. Genital Warts or Other STIs: Given your history of unprotected sexual intercourse, it is also important to consider sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as genital warts or herpes. These can present as bumps or sores in the genital area and may be accompanied by pain or discomfort.

Recommended Actions
1. Seek Medical Attention: It is crucial to consult a healthcare provider, preferably a gynecologist, for an accurate diagnosis. They may perform a physical examination and possibly take swabs to test for infections.

2. Avoid Irritants: Until you see a doctor, avoid using any new skin care products or soaps in the genital area. Stick to mild, unscented products to minimize irritation.

3. Maintain Hygiene: Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid tight clothing that may cause friction and irritation. Cotton underwear can help with breathability.

4. Avoid Sexual Activity: Until you have been evaluated by a healthcare provider, it may be wise to refrain from sexual activity to prevent further irritation or potential transmission of an infection.

5. Monitor Symptoms: Keep track of any changes in your symptoms, such as increased pain, changes in discharge, or the development of new symptoms. This information can be helpful for your healthcare provider.

Conclusion
The symptoms you are experiencing are concerning and warrant a professional evaluation. While there are several potential causes for the white bumps and associated discomfort, only a healthcare provider can provide a definitive diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Early intervention can help prevent complications and ensure a swift recovery. Please prioritize scheduling an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible.
