Missed menstruation?
Hello, doctor.
I am #185004.
My period still hasn't arrived today.
On July 11th, two days after my period ended, I helped my boyfriend with manual stimulation, and he ejaculated.
I wiped with tissue, and after about ten minutes, I went to the bathroom, but I'm not sure if there was still any semen on my hands.
I then wiped my vagina with tissue and rinsed it with water twice.
Is there a chance I could be pregnant? Today, I still feel like my period is about to come, but it hasn't arrived.
I went to bed around 2 AM last night, while I usually sleep around 11 or 12 PM.
Could my irregular sleep schedule be causing a delay in my period, or could it be due to stress affecting my hormonal balance? If I take a pregnancy test tomorrow, will the result be reliable? What are the chances of being pregnant?

Hello, you should not be pregnant.
If you're still concerned, you can take a pregnancy test today.
If the result is negative, you can be sure that you are not pregnant, and you can wait a little longer to see.
Wishing you good health.

Missed periods can be a source of anxiety and concern for many individuals, especially when there is a possibility of pregnancy. In your case, it seems you are experiencing a delay in your menstrual cycle and are unsure about the potential for pregnancy due to a recent sexual encounter. Let's break down the factors that could contribute to your missed period and address your concerns.
First, it is important to understand that a missed period can occur for a variety of reasons, not just pregnancy. Stress, changes in routine, hormonal imbalances, and even changes in diet or exercise can all impact your menstrual cycle. In your situation, you mentioned that you have been sleeping later than usual, which could potentially affect your hormonal balance and lead to a delayed period. Stress and anxiety about the possibility of pregnancy can also contribute to hormonal fluctuations, which may delay menstruation.
Regarding the sexual encounter you described, while there was ejaculation, you took precautions by wiping and washing afterward. The likelihood of pregnancy from this scenario is relatively low, especially if you did not have direct vaginal intercourse. Sperm typically needs to be deposited directly in the vaginal canal for pregnancy to occur. However, it is important to note that pre-ejaculate fluid (pre-cum) can contain sperm, and if any sperm were present on your hands and transferred to your vagina, there is a small chance of pregnancy.
If you are experiencing symptoms that feel like your period is about to start, such as cramping or breast tenderness, it could indicate that your period is on its way, but it may just be delayed. If your period does not arrive in a few days, taking a home pregnancy test can provide clarity. Home pregnancy tests are generally reliable when taken after a missed period, as they measure the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced during pregnancy.
If you take a pregnancy test tomorrow and it is negative, but your period still does not arrive, it may be wise to wait a few more days and test again. If your period remains absent and you continue to have concerns, consider consulting with a healthcare provider for further evaluation. They can help determine if there are underlying issues that need to be addressed, such as hormonal imbalances or other health concerns.
In summary, while the possibility of pregnancy exists, the likelihood seems low given the precautions you took. Stress and changes in your routine could be contributing to your missed period. If you are still uncertain after taking a pregnancy test, seeking medical advice can provide you with the reassurance and information you need. Remember, it is common for menstrual cycles to vary, and occasional delays can happen for many reasons. Take care of your mental and physical health during this time, and try to manage any anxiety you may be feeling.
