My boyfriend is 8 years older than me.
He has recently quit betel nut after a long history of drinking alcohol, high-calorie foods, and smoking.
Since early September, he has started experiencing gastrointestinal discomfort, daily vomiting, slight yellowing of the whites of his eyes, and a lack of appetite.
Even when encouraged to eat, he can't consume much and often refuses food.
He spends all day lazily lying in bed watching TV or getting up just to lie back down and sleep or drink alcohol.
People say that drinking alcohol makes you sleepy and prevents vomiting.
He also has high blood pressure and heart disease.
Is there any illness associated with these symptoms? He doesn't like seeing doctors or taking Western medicine or supplements...
