Diverticulitis and Yakult


Hello, I would like to consult a doctor.
In early September of this year, I experienced pain in the left and right lower abdomen, and a CT scan confirmed diverticulitis.
I was hospitalized and received intravenous antibiotics and nutrition, and I was discharged after seven days.
After discharge, I maintained a light diet and gradually regained my strength.
However, on the fourth day post-discharge, I experienced pain in the left and right lower abdomen again, in the same locations as the diverticulitis, but fortunately, the pain decreased daily.
On the 18th day post-discharge, I experienced pain in the same locations again.
Upon reflection, I realized that both times I experienced pain, I had consumed a bottle of Yakult beforehand.
Therefore, I would like to ask the doctor if drinking just one bottle of Yakult could potentially lead to a recurrence of diverticulitis or abdominal pain.
