Involuntary muscle tension?


Hello Doctor: Since around middle school, I have experienced episodes where my head involuntarily turns to the left, and the muscles in my face, neck, and limbs temporarily (for about ten seconds) maintain a rigid posture, becoming twisted and unable to move freely.
When others ask what is happening, I usually say I am cramping.
This situation often occurs during times of stress or heightened emotions, such as at the moment of starting a race or when suddenly called to the stage.
However, if I am well-prepared or if I do not start moving too quickly, it almost never happens, although it can still be difficult to avoid during sports.
I would like to ask the doctor if this is a symptom of a specific condition, and if there are any ways to improve it.
