Hello Doctor: I would like to share some information about my growth process.
I graduated from elementary school at 153.1 cm, and in the first year of junior high, I was 155.2 cm (this is when I started developing body hair).
By the second year of junior high, my voice changed, and I reached 163 cm in my first year of high school, graduating high school at 165.3 cm (I grew about 10 cm during junior high and 2 cm during high school).
In my first year of college, I wondered if I could continue to grow taller, so I started jumping rope 1,000 times every day and went to bed at 10:30 PM.
As a result, I grew 3 cm in six months.
When I was 19 years old, I was 168 cm tall, and I started to grow facial hair and had a slightly prominent Adam's apple.
However, in my second year of college, I had to stop exercising due to quadriceps tendonitis, which only allowed me to grow 1 cm that year, bringing my current height to 169 cm.
Last September, I visited an orthopedic doctor who performed an ultrasound and mentioned that there is still a little growth plate left in my calves.
I would like to ask the doctor if it is possible to determine my remaining growth potential from this information and what my bone age might be, considering my father's height is 163 cm, my mother's is 158.5 cm, and my sister's is 161.5 cm.
I hope to reach a height of over 173 cm and would like to know if there is a chance for that.
