Will this lead to pregnancy?

Hello! I would like to ask a question.
My last menstrual period started on February 9, and my previous cycles were always 28 days.
However, the February 9 period was only 25 days apart.
Will my cycle this time also be 25 days, or is 28 days considered normal? If it is 25 days, my period hasn't arrived yet.
Could I be pregnant? I had external ejaculation with my boyfriend in a hot spring on February 16.
Does that count as being within the safe period? I've been vomiting almost every day lately, which makes me very worried.
However, I also experienced frequent vomiting before my period on February 9.
Could this be due to pregnancy? Additionally, I have been taking medication for hyperthyroidism and had blood tests done.
I've also been under a lot of stress recently.
Could this affect the timing of my menstrual cycle? Please respond as soon as possible.
Thank you!

1.
The menstrual cycle can be influenced by many factors, such as changes in lifestyle, medications, weight loss, exercise, and hormones, which can occasionally lead to irregularities.
2.
If your usual cycle is 28 days, the next one should also be 28 days.
3.
If you haven't gotten your period by March 8th, there is a possibility of pregnancy, so it's best to take a pregnancy test! 4.
Antithyroid medications can indeed affect menstruation.

More Info

Understanding whether you could be pregnant involves considering several factors, including your menstrual cycle, timing of sexual activity, and any symptoms you may be experiencing.
Firstly, it's important to note that menstrual cycles can vary from month to month. While you mentioned that your previous cycles have typically been 28 days, your last cycle was 25 days. This variation can occur due to numerous factors such as stress, hormonal changes, or lifestyle adjustments. Therefore, it is possible that your cycle could be shorter this time, but it may also revert to the typical 28-day cycle.
If your last period started on February 9 and you have a 25-day cycle, you would expect your next period around March 6. If you have not yet had your period and today is after that date, it could be a sign of pregnancy, especially if you have been experiencing symptoms such as nausea or vomiting. However, it is also essential to consider that stress and other health factors, including your history of hyperthyroidism and any medications you have taken, can also impact your menstrual cycle and cause symptoms like nausea.

Regarding the timing of your sexual activity, you mentioned that you had intercourse on February 16, which was shortly after your last period. If you have a typical 28-day cycle, ovulation usually occurs around 14 days after the first day of your last period, which would be around February 23. However, with a shorter cycle, ovulation could occur earlier, making it possible for you to conceive during that encounter, especially if it was close to your ovulation window.
The method of contraception you mentioned—withdrawal (or "pulling out")—is not considered a highly reliable form of birth control. While it can reduce the risk of pregnancy, it is not foolproof, as pre-ejaculate fluid can contain sperm. Therefore, if you are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, it would be wise to take a home pregnancy test. These tests are most accurate when taken after a missed period.

In summary, if your period is late and you are experiencing symptoms like nausea, it would be prudent to take a pregnancy test. If you have ongoing concerns about your menstrual cycle, symptoms, or your history of hyperthyroidism, it would be beneficial to consult with a healthcare provider. They can provide a comprehensive evaluation and guidance tailored to your specific situation.
In conclusion, while there are several indicators that could suggest pregnancy, including a missed period and symptoms like vomiting, it is essential to consider the variability of menstrual cycles and the influence of stress and health conditions. A pregnancy test will provide clarity, and seeking medical advice will ensure that you receive appropriate care and support.
