Menstruation has not arrived!!!

I had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend on February 14, but he withdrew before ejaculation.
The next day, I got my period, but this month my period is two days late.
I bought a pregnancy test, and it came back negative.
I also took medication to induce my period, but it still hasn't come.
However, I have been experiencing vaginal discharge.
Am I pregnant? Please help me, thank you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of anxiety regarding the possibility of pregnancy, especially given the recent missed period and the negative pregnancy tests. Let's break down your situation and address your concerns.

First, it's important to understand that a missed period can be caused by a variety of factors, not just pregnancy. Stress, hormonal imbalances, changes in weight, and even certain medications can all affect your menstrual cycle. In your case, you mentioned that your last menstrual period started the day after your encounter with your boyfriend, which typically indicates that you were not pregnant at that time. However, since your period is now late, it’s understandable that you are feeling concerned.

You mentioned that you have taken a pregnancy test that came back negative. Home pregnancy tests are generally quite accurate, especially if taken after a missed period. However, if you took the test too early, it might not have detected the pregnancy hormone (hCG) yet, which could lead to a false negative. Given that your period is only two days late, it might be worth waiting a few more days and testing again, as hCG levels double approximately every 48 hours in early pregnancy.

You also mentioned taking medication to induce your period. If you have taken these medications and still have not had your period, it may indicate that your body is not responding as expected. This could be due to hormonal fluctuations or other underlying issues. The presence of white discharge can be normal and is often a sign of hormonal changes, but it does not confirm or deny pregnancy.

If you continue to experience a missed period and negative tests, it would be advisable to consult with a healthcare provider. They can perform a blood test, which is more sensitive than a urine test and can detect lower levels of hCG. Additionally, they can evaluate for other potential causes of your missed period, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or thyroid issues, which can also affect menstrual regularity.

In summary, while the likelihood of pregnancy seems low given your circumstances, it is essential to monitor your situation closely. If your period does not arrive soon, or if you have any other concerning symptoms, please reach out to a healthcare professional for further evaluation and support. They can provide you with the most accurate information and help you navigate your concerns effectively. Remember, it's always better to seek professional advice when in doubt about your health.
