Unsure if pregnant?
I haven't had my period for two months.
It was supposed to come on the 14th of last month, but I had a major exam during that time and had intercourse a few times.
I've been experiencing breast tenderness and cramping in my lower abdomen.
During this period, I was worried about pregnancy, so I bought pregnancy tests and took three of them (spaced 1-2 weeks apart), but all showed only one line.
Additionally, two months ago, my weight was 48 kg, and now it's 44.5 kg.
Last month, I also experienced mild nausea and dizziness.
I'm unsure if these symptoms indicate pregnancy or something else.
I'm very anxious about the possibility of being pregnant, so I would appreciate your guidance.
Thank you!

Based on your description, it seems you are experiencing a range of symptoms and concerns regarding a possible pregnancy. Let's break down your situation and address your questions.
Firstly, the absence of menstruation for two months is significant and could indicate a variety of conditions, including pregnancy, hormonal imbalances, stress, or other medical issues. The symptoms you mentioned, such as breast tenderness, abdominal cramps, mild nausea, and dizziness, can be associated with early pregnancy, but they can also be linked to other factors, including premenstrual syndrome (PMS) or stress-related changes in your body.
Regarding the pregnancy tests you conducted, it is important to note that home pregnancy tests are generally reliable, but they can yield false negatives, especially if taken too early. The tests work by detecting the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which is produced shortly after a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining. If you tested too early, before your body had enough hCG to be detected, you might see only one line, indicating a negative result.
Given that you have tested multiple times over the past weeks and consistently received negative results, it is less likely that you are pregnant, especially if you have not experienced any significant changes in the test results. However, stress from exams and lifestyle changes (like weight loss) can also affect your menstrual cycle and overall hormonal balance, potentially leading to missed periods and other symptoms.
Your weight loss from 48 kg to 44.5 kg over the past month is also noteworthy. Rapid weight loss can impact your menstrual cycle and hormonal levels, leading to missed periods and other symptoms. It is essential to consider your overall health, including your diet, stress levels, and any other lifestyle factors that may be contributing to these changes.
In summary, while your symptoms could suggest pregnancy, the consistent negative results from your pregnancy tests and the recent weight loss indicate that there may be other factors at play. It is crucial to consult a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation. They may recommend a blood test for pregnancy, which is more sensitive than home tests, and can provide a definitive answer. Additionally, they can assess your overall health, discuss your symptoms, and help determine the underlying cause of your missed periods and other symptoms.
In conclusion, while your concerns are valid, it is essential to seek medical advice to clarify your situation. A healthcare provider can offer personalized guidance and support, ensuring that you receive the appropriate care based on your specific circumstances.
