Hello Doctor,
I would like to ask about the acne on my neck.
I have been experiencing acne since puberty, and now at 25 years old, I still have some small comedones on my forehead and face, but my neck is breaking out with large red pimples.
I recently underwent six sessions of chemical peels, which improved the comedones, but the acne on my neck is difficult to resolve.
Why is it occurring on my neck? I am puzzled.
As a student, I cannot afford to continue with chemical peels.
The clinic nurse suggested that I use a home treatment with BP15 and 15% glycolic acid.
Is this effective? Will it help with my pores as well? I am also concerned about my pores.
Additionally, I have oily skin and worry about moisture loss after washing my face, so I purchased hyaluronic acid recommended by the clinic, but I am almost out.
Should I switch to another oil-control moisturizer? I am currently using a cleanser with glycolic acid; can I continue using it indefinitely?
