I would like to inquire about issues related to the glans and the foreskin?
I previously had vigorous sexual activity (with a single partner) that caused some discoloration on the coronal ridge of the glans, but after resting for two to three days, it resolved.
After a significant amount of time, I noticed during masturbation that in an erect state, the skin of the foreskin about 0.5 cm below the coronal ridge feels like it cannot be retracted.
When not erect, the foreskin retracts normally (as it used to).
Currently, I no longer have the feeling of it being unable to retract, but in an erect state, that 0.5 cm of foreskin still cannot be retracted.
What could be the issue?

Dr. Xu Weikai reply Urology
Male: Hello, I believe there is a narrow area on the foreskin.
If there is no pain, it generally does not require special treatment.
However, if there is pain or ischemia, it is best to undergo a surgical incision for correction.

More Info
It sounds like you are experiencing some concerns related to the glans (the head of the penis) and the foreskin after engaging in intense sexual activity. Based on your description, it seems you initially had some bruising or discoloration on the glans, which resolved after a few days of rest. However, you are now noticing a restriction in the movement of the foreskin when you are erect, specifically about 0.5 cm below the glans.
First, it is important to understand that the foreskin is a fold of skin that covers the glans of the penis. In some individuals, the foreskin can be tight or have limited mobility, a condition known as phimosis. Phimosis can be physiological (normal in infants and young boys) or pathological (developing later in life due to scarring or other factors).
In your case, the inability to retract the foreskin during an erection could indicate a mild form of phimosis, especially if this is a new development following the intense sexual activity. The fact that the foreskin retracts normally when not erect suggests that the issue may be related to the changes in the skin or tissue after the recent sexual activity.
Intense sexual activity can sometimes lead to trauma or irritation of the penile tissues, which may result in swelling, bruising, or even minor tears. If the foreskin or glans was injured, it could lead to temporary changes in the skin's elasticity or mobility. This could explain why you felt a restriction during an erection but not when flaccid.
Here are a few considerations and recommendations:
1. Observation: Since you mentioned that the restriction is not present when flaccid and that the initial discoloration resolved, it may be beneficial to observe the situation for a little longer. If the restriction persists or worsens, it would be advisable to seek medical attention.
2. Gentle Care: Avoid any activities that may further irritate the area, such as vigorous masturbation or sexual intercourse, until you feel completely comfortable. Gentle hygiene practices are essential to avoid any infections or further irritation.
3. Consult a Healthcare Provider: If the restriction continues or if you experience pain, discomfort, or any other concerning symptoms (such as unusual discharge or persistent discoloration), it would be wise to consult a urologist or a healthcare provider. They can perform a physical examination and provide a more accurate diagnosis and treatment options if necessary.
4. Potential Treatments: If it is determined that you have phimosis or another condition affecting the foreskin, treatment options may include topical steroids to help loosen the skin, stretching exercises, or in some cases, surgical options like circumcision may be discussed.
5. Sexual Health: It’s also important to consider your overall sexual health. Engaging in intense sexual activity can sometimes lead to injuries, so ensuring that both partners are comfortable and using adequate lubrication can help prevent such issues in the future.
In summary, while your symptoms may be related to the recent intense sexual activity, it is crucial to monitor the situation and consult a healthcare provider if the issue persists. Taking care of your sexual health is important, and addressing any concerns early can help prevent complications.
