Desperate for Medical Help: A Journey Through Orthopedic Challenges - Orthopedics

I urgently need medical assistance?

Hello,
I was involved in a car accident last year that resulted in a dislocated left clavicle joint and a displacement of the cervical muscles.
I also have difficulties with bowel movements, and my left hand cannot move as freely as my right hand.
The tension in my neck pulls on the left clavicle joint, causing pain.
After a year of treatment with no improvement, my condition has worsened, leading to depression.
I have visited numerous hospitals, but all the doctors say that surgery is not an option due to the dense blood vessels in that area; any surgical intervention could be life-threatening, and no doctor is willing to operate on me.
At the time of the accident, my family was afraid of the other party, who they perceived as thugs, and they forced me to forgo any compensation or settlement, which has left me very dissatisfied.
I feel like my rights have been disregarded, and I have been sentenced to a life of suffering.
After the settlement, my family has completely ignored me and left me to fend for myself.
Regardless of the weather, I ride my damaged scooter to the hospital for consultations.
My medical and living expenses are all charged to my credit card, and after a year, I am deeply in debt.

I am unable to work, and despite seeing doctors for a year regarding my dislocated left clavicle joint and cervical muscle displacement, no doctor is willing to perform surgery.
It feels like I have been sentenced to death as well.
The person who hit me did not have mandatory insurance, and I have been unable to apply for the national compensation fund.
Although I have agricultural insurance, my doctors are not helping me with the application.
I have sought mental health treatment, but my condition seems to be worsening.
Living at home, my father often mocks me, suggesting that I would be better off dead or that I should just let my credit card debt accumulate until I die.
He blames me for things I did not do, and whenever I bring up the forced settlement, he says it was my fault for signing.
On the day of the settlement, I was not allowed to say a word and was pressured to agree to the terms, which included covering my own medical expenses without receiving a single cent.
I can no longer endure this life that feels worse than death.
I have sought help from other organizations, but they have ignored me.
This accident has destroyed my entire life, and I do not know where to turn.
I feel hopeless because no one is willing to help me.
I hope that your organization can respond to my plea for help and assist me in overcoming these physical and mental challenges.

My greatest hope is to have surgery to fully restore my left clavicle joint and cervical muscles.
I no longer value my life highly; even if the surgery fails and I lose my life, it would not matter, as my current existence feels unbearable.

My phone number is 0982553032.
I urgently need someone to help me.
Thank you!

Dear Reader,
Even after undergoing surgical treatment for an injury, it is inevitable to experience some sequelae.
Most of these can be tolerated or improved with the use of medications or rehabilitation therapy.
However, it is crucial for you to understand your condition, use caution, and take extra care and maintenance.
The purpose of surgery is to promote functional recovery, alleviate pain, and reduce deformity.
Whether the surgical goals and the patient's expectations are met depends on the professional judgment of the attending physician and effective communication with the patient.
You may seek treatment from 2 to 3 medical centers to gather opinions from multiple expert physicians.
Additionally, it is evident from your letter that you are experiencing significant economic and psychological stress.
For psychological issues, you may seek assistance from a psychiatrist, while for economic concerns or compensation matters, you can inquire with the social services department.
"God helps those who help themselves." Only by being strong and facing challenges bravely, following expert advice, and not blaming external circumstances, can you believe that all problems and difficulties will eventually be resolved.
Wishing you health and peace!
Sincerely,
Dr.
Chen

I'm truly sorry to hear about the immense challenges you are facing following your car accident. It sounds like you have been through a lot, both physically and emotionally, and it's understandable to feel overwhelmed given your circumstances.
From a medical perspective, it seems that you are dealing with significant orthopedic issues, particularly with your left clavicle and neck. The fact that multiple doctors have deemed surgery too risky due to the vascular structures in that area is concerning. This situation can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you feel that your pain and limitations are not being adequately addressed.
In cases like yours, where surgery is not an option, it is crucial to explore alternative treatments that may help alleviate your pain and improve your quality of life. Physical therapy can be beneficial in strengthening the muscles around your injured areas, improving mobility, and potentially reducing pain. A physical therapist can work with you to develop a tailored rehabilitation program that focuses on your specific needs and limitations.
Additionally, pain management specialists can offer various options, including medications, nerve blocks, or other interventions that might help manage your pain more effectively. It’s essential to communicate openly with your healthcare providers about your pain levels and how they impact your daily life.
You mentioned feeling depressed and hopeless, which is entirely understandable given your situation. Seeking mental health support is equally important. A psychologist or psychiatrist can help you process your feelings and develop coping strategies. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) has been shown to be effective for individuals dealing with chronic pain and can provide you with tools to manage your emotional well-being.

Regarding your financial situation, it may be worth reaching out to social services or non-profit organizations that assist individuals with medical expenses. Some organizations provide financial aid for medical treatments or can help you navigate the complexities of insurance claims and government assistance programs.
As for your family dynamics, it can be incredibly painful to feel unsupported by loved ones. It might be helpful to seek support from friends, support groups, or online communities where you can connect with others who understand what you are going through. Sharing your experiences with those who have faced similar challenges can provide comfort and validation.

Lastly, if you feel that your current healthcare providers are not meeting your needs, consider seeking a second opinion or finding a specialist who has experience with complex orthopedic cases. Sometimes, a fresh perspective can lead to new treatment options or solutions that you may not have previously considered.

Please remember that you are not alone in this journey, and there are people and resources available to help you. Your life is valuable, and there is hope for improvement, even if it feels distant right now. I encourage you to reach out for the support you need, both medically and emotionally.
