There are ants in the underwear?

I would like to ask about an experience I had.
After work one day, I took off my underwear (I usually don't wear underwear after work) and left it on the bed.
When I went to wash it later that evening, I found that there were ants on the underwear (there was some discharge on it, which was white and did not have a foul odor).
I couldn't understand why this happened, so I experimented 2-3 more times, and the same thing occurred.
What could be the reason for this? I am 156 cm tall and weigh 52 kg.
I don't often eat sweets and mostly drink green tea.
Could you please explain this to me? Thank you.

Hello: First, please perform a urine test to rule out the possibility of glycosuria.
Generally, women of reproductive age have vaginal epithelial cells that contain glycogen due to the influence of female hormones.
The vaginal discharge contains shed vaginal epithelial cells, and the breakdown of these cells releases glycogen, which naturally attracts ants.
This observation indicates that you are quite young and have robust levels of female hormones.
Sincerely, Dr.

Ants are often attracted to various substances, including food residues, sugary substances, and even certain bodily secretions. In your case, the presence of ants on your underwear could be attributed to a few factors related to hygiene and the nature of the substances that might be present on your clothing.

From a gynecological perspective, it is important to consider that the human body naturally produces various secretions, including sweat, vaginal discharge, and other bodily fluids. These secretions can contain sugars, proteins, and other organic compounds that may attract ants. Even if you do not consume a lot of sugary foods or drinks, your body can still produce substances that are appealing to ants.

1. Vaginal Discharge: The vaginal discharge can vary in consistency and color throughout the menstrual cycle, influenced by hormonal changes. Normal discharge is typically clear or milky and may have a slight odor. If your discharge is white and does not have a foul smell, it is likely within the normal range. However, if there are any changes in color, consistency, or odor, it may be worth consulting a healthcare provider to rule out any infections or imbalances.

2. Hygiene Practices: It is essential to maintain good hygiene, especially in the genital area. If you are not wearing underwear after work and leaving your clothes in a place where they can accumulate moisture or organic matter, this could create an environment conducive to attracting insects. Ants are particularly drawn to moist environments where they can find food sources.
3. Environmental Factors: The location of your home and the presence of ants in your environment can also play a significant role. If you live in an area where ants are prevalent, they may be more likely to explore and invade your living space, especially if they detect any food sources.
4. Cleaning and Storage: To minimize the attraction of ants, it is advisable to wash your underwear regularly and store them in a clean, dry place. If you notice ants consistently appearing on your clothing, consider cleaning the area where you store your clothes and ensuring that there are no food residues or spills that could attract them.

5. Consultation with a Healthcare Provider: If you have concerns about your vaginal discharge or any other symptoms, it is always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider. They can provide a thorough examination and determine if there are any underlying issues that need to be addressed.

In summary, the attraction of ants to your underwear could be due to the presence of natural bodily secretions that contain substances appealing to them. Maintaining good hygiene, regularly washing your clothing, and ensuring a clean environment can help reduce this issue. If you have any concerns about your health or the nature of your discharge, seeking medical advice is always recommended.
