Red rash on the chest?

I sometimes have red spots on my chest that do not hurt or itch; they are not growths (not acne).
Sometimes they cover my entire chest and are about the size of a small marble.
After observing them multiple times, I noticed they usually fade away on their own in about 20 to 30 minutes.
I do not have any allergies and I am not taking any medications.
You mentioned that this could be urticaria, but my rash does not itch, does not hurt, and there is no peeling.
Recently, these spots have been appearing daily, and they are confined to my chest, fading away in about 20 to 30 minutes each time.
Is this related to liver metabolism? Please tell me how to treat it!

Hello: If possible, please take photos before and after the outbreak for easier diagnosis or communication.
Generally, allergies do not necessarily have to be itchy; as long as the swelling subsides within a few hours, it can be classified as urticaria.
If there is a chronic carrier of Hepatitis B or C and the liver enzymes are elevated during an outbreak, then it may be related to the liver.
Skin conditions associated with liver issues include lichen planus, polyarteritis nodosa, jaundice, generalized pruritus, and cryoglobulinemic vasculitis.
Other skin issues, such as acne, are generally not related to liver health; this is a belief in folk medicine or traditional Chinese medicine, and cannot be commented on scientifically!

More Info

Transient red spots on the chest can be concerning, especially when they appear frequently and without accompanying symptoms like pain or itching. Based on your description, it seems that these spots are not typical hives (urticaria) since they do not itch or cause discomfort. Instead, they may be a benign condition known as transient erythema, which can occur due to various reasons.

Possible Causes
1. Vascular Response: The transient nature of your red spots suggests that they may be related to a vascular response. This can occur due to changes in temperature, physical activity, or even emotional stress, leading to temporary dilation of blood vessels in the skin.

2. Dermatological Conditions: Conditions like heat rash or even certain types of dermatitis can cause transient redness without itching or pain. These conditions often resolve quickly and may not require treatment.

3. Allergic Reactions: Although you mentioned that you do not have allergies, it is still possible that you are experiencing a mild, non-itchy allergic reaction to something in your environment, such as a fabric, detergent, or even food.

4. Hormonal Changes: Hormonal fluctuations can also lead to transient skin changes. This is particularly common in individuals undergoing significant life changes or stress.

5. Underlying Health Issues: While less likely given the nature of your symptoms, certain systemic conditions can manifest as transient skin changes. However, these are usually accompanied by other symptoms.

Treatment Options
Since your symptoms are transient and self-resolving, treatment may not be necessary. However, if you find the spots bothersome or if they begin to change in appearance or frequency, here are some suggestions:
1. Observation: Keep a diary of when the spots appear, noting any potential triggers such as food, activities, or environmental changes. This may help identify patterns.

2. Topical Treatments: If the spots become bothersome, over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream may help reduce inflammation. However, use it sparingly and only as needed.

3. Avoid Triggers: If you suspect that certain fabrics or products may be causing the reaction, try to avoid them. Opt for breathable fabrics like cotton and avoid harsh detergents.

4. Consult a Dermatologist: If the condition persists or worsens, it would be wise to consult a dermatologist. They can perform a thorough examination and may recommend tests to rule out any underlying conditions.

5. Lifestyle Modifications: Ensure you are maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, regular exercise, and adequate hydration. These factors can influence skin health.

Connection to Liver Metabolism
Regarding your question about liver metabolism, while the liver plays a crucial role in detoxifying the body and processing various substances, transient red spots on the skin are not typically directly linked to liver function. However, if you have concerns about your liver health or if you experience other symptoms (like fatigue, jaundice, or changes in appetite), it would be prudent to consult a healthcare professional for a comprehensive evaluation.

In summary, transient red spots on the chest that resolve quickly and do not cause discomfort are often benign. Monitoring the situation and consulting with a dermatologist if necessary will help ensure that you receive appropriate care and peace of mind.
