If I have had corneal abrasions in the past (approximately two occurrences this year, which have healed without scarring), could this make my eyes more prone to dryness? I had an examination the day before yesterday, and the doctor said I do not have dry eye syndrome.
However, why do I feel a bit of dryness in my eyes every morning upon waking up? (This occurs without the air conditioning on.) The sensation of dryness only happens in the morning; at other times, I do not experience it.
Could this be a psychological effect?
