The semen has a yellow granular appearance?

Recently, I have noticed yellow granules in my semen when I masturbate.
Is this a sign of a disease? I have been experiencing this for about 3 times a week, 2 to 3 times a week.
After ejaculation, I feel a slight pain in my left testicle for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Is this normal? Thank you.

It is recommended to visit a urologist for a semen analysis to rule out the possibility of infection.
Thank you!

When it comes to the presence of yellow granules in semen, it can understandably cause concern. However, it's important to approach this issue with a clear understanding of the potential causes and implications.
Firstly, the appearance of yellow granules in semen can be attributed to several factors. One common reason could be the presence of spermatozoa mixed with prostatic fluid, which can sometimes appear yellowish due to the natural color of the seminal fluid. The prostate gland produces a significant portion of the fluid in semen, and variations in its secretions can lead to changes in color and texture.
Another possibility is the presence of infections or inflammation in the reproductive system, such as prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) or epididymitis (inflammation of the epididymis). These conditions can lead to changes in the consistency and appearance of semen, and they may also be accompanied by other symptoms such as pain, swelling, or discomfort in the testicular area. The left testicular pain you mentioned, which lasts for 5 to 10 minutes after ejaculation, could be indicative of such an issue.
It's also worth noting that dietary factors, dehydration, and certain medications can influence the color and consistency of semen. For instance, consuming foods high in certain pigments or supplements may alter the appearance of semen temporarily.
Given that you have experienced this condition consistently over the past few weeks, it would be prudent to consult a healthcare professional, particularly a urologist. They can perform a thorough evaluation, which may include a physical examination, urine tests, and possibly a semen analysis to rule out any underlying infections or other medical conditions.
In summary, while yellow granules in semen can be benign and related to normal variations in seminal fluid, the accompanying pain and the persistence of the symptoms warrant a professional evaluation. Early diagnosis and treatment, if necessary, can help address any potential issues and provide peace of mind. Remember, it's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to your health.
