There is a sharp pain in the middle of the left big toe when extending it?


Hello, recently I have noticed a sharp pain in the middle part of my left big toe when I stretch my foot.
The pain is brief and does not persist, and my right foot does not have this issue.
I found information online mostly pointing to plantar fasciitis, but the symptoms do not match mine.
I would like to know what might be causing this and what I should do about it.
I was in a car accident last March, but the main injury was to my left ankle, and my big toe was not affected at that time, so it shouldn't be a residual effect from that injury, right? I usually go to bed around 3 or 4 AM and wake up around 1 or 2 PM, or sometimes I only get a few hours of sleep to wake up early.
Could fatigue also be a contributing factor?
