I have been very concerned about my health lately?
I have been experiencing a lot of discharge recently.
Last week I had diarrhea, and this week I am constipated.
Today, I noticed what seems to be blood in my stool.
Sometimes, I have stomach pain at around 1 AM when I can't sleep, and my throat also hurts.
I would like to know if my body is showing any warning signs or if I might have a disease.
I kindly ask for a professional doctor's advice.
Thank you.

It sounds like you are experiencing a range of concerning gastrointestinal symptoms, including changes in bowel habits, abdominal pain, and the presence of blood in your stool. These symptoms can indeed be alarming and warrant careful consideration. Let's break down your symptoms and discuss potential causes and what steps you should take.
Firstly, the presence of blood in your stool is a significant symptom that should never be ignored. Blood can appear in the stool for various reasons, including hemorrhoids, anal fissures, diverticulosis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, and even colorectal cancer. Given your age, while the likelihood of cancer is lower, it is still essential to rule out any serious conditions.
The alternating episodes of diarrhea and constipation you mentioned could indicate a condition known as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is characterized by a combination of digestive symptoms including abdominal pain, bloating, and changes in bowel habits. Stress and anxiety can exacerbate IBS symptoms, and it’s not uncommon for individuals to experience heightened gastrointestinal distress during periods of emotional turmoil.
Additionally, your reports of stomach pain, especially at night, could suggest gastritis or peptic ulcers, which can be aggravated by stress, certain foods, or lifestyle factors such as smoking or alcohol consumption. The sore throat you mentioned could be unrelated, but if you are experiencing nausea or vomiting, it could indicate a more systemic issue.
Given the complexity of your symptoms, it is crucial to seek medical attention. Here are some steps you should consider:
1. Consult a Healthcare Professional: Schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist or your primary care physician. They can perform a thorough evaluation, which may include a physical examination, blood tests, and possibly imaging studies or endoscopy to visualize your digestive tract.
2. Document Your Symptoms: Keep a detailed record of your symptoms, including when they occur, their severity, and any potential triggers (such as specific foods, stress, or medications). This information can be invaluable to your healthcare provider.
3. Dietary Changes: Consider keeping a food diary to identify any foods that may exacerbate your symptoms. A diet low in processed foods and high in fiber may help regulate your bowel movements. Staying hydrated is also essential, especially if you have experienced diarrhea.
4. Manage Stress: Since stress can significantly impact digestive health, consider incorporating stress-reducing techniques into your routine, such as mindfulness, yoga, or regular physical activity.
5. Avoid Self-Diagnosis: While it’s tempting to search for answers online, self-diagnosis can lead to unnecessary anxiety and may not provide an accurate picture of your health. Trust your healthcare provider to guide you through the diagnostic process.
In conclusion, while your symptoms may be indicative of a manageable condition, the presence of blood in your stool and significant changes in bowel habits are serious enough to warrant immediate medical evaluation. Early diagnosis and treatment can lead to better outcomes, so don’t hesitate to seek help. Remember, your health is paramount, and addressing these concerns promptly is the best course of action.
