Hello doctor, I have been experiencing vaginal inflammation and I'm not sure if the pain is due to excessive wiping after using the restroom, which may have caused some abrasions.
Last night, I noticed some bleeding, so I went to see a gynecologist the next day.
I was prescribed a three-day course of pills, ointment, and suppositories.
After using the suppository on the second day, I applied the ointment (using a cotton swab for both internal and external application) and noticed that the cotton swab was saturated with blood (which was not the case on the first day).
While applying the ointment, I also felt what seemed like a small abrasion inside (with mild pain).
After the suppository dissolved, I noticed clear bleeding when wiping after using the restroom.
I'm unsure if I'm using the medication incorrectly or if my condition has worsened.
