Hard white small dots?

I found a small white bump at the junction of the penis and the glans during a recent shower.
It feels like a pimple that I can squeeze, but nothing comes out.
It is not painful and feels firm to the touch.
Originally, there were two bumps, but now only one remains.
I have not had any sexual experience.
What could this condition be, and which specialist should I see?

The presence of hard white bumps on the penis, particularly at the junction of the penis and glans (the head), can be concerning, especially for someone who has not had sexual experience. Based on your description, it sounds like you may be dealing with a few potential conditions, but it's essential to approach this matter with care and proper medical guidance.

One common cause of hard white bumps in this area is Pearly Penile Papules. These are small, benign bumps that typically appear around the corona of the glans. They are completely normal anatomical variations and are not associated with any disease or infection. They usually do not cause pain or discomfort and do not require treatment unless they cause psychological distress.

Another possibility is Sebaceous Cysts. These are small lumps that can form when sebaceous glands become blocked. They can feel firm and may appear white or yellowish. While they are generally harmless, they can sometimes become inflamed or infected, leading to discomfort.

Folliculitis, which is the inflammation of hair follicles, can also present as small, hard bumps that may resemble pimples. This condition can occur due to irritation, infection, or blockage of the hair follicles. If the bumps are painful or show signs of infection (such as redness, warmth, or pus), it’s advisable to seek medical attention.

In some cases, genital warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) can appear as small bumps on the genital area. These can vary in appearance and may require evaluation by a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and management.

Given that you mentioned the bumps are hard, not painful, and have changed in number, it is crucial to consult a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis. You should consider visiting a urologist, who specializes in male reproductive health, or a dermatologist, who can assess skin-related issues. They will likely perform a physical examination and may ask about your medical history and any other symptoms you might be experiencing.

It is important to avoid squeezing or attempting to pop the bumps, as this can lead to irritation or infection. Instead, keep the area clean and dry, and refrain from any activities that may cause further irritation until you have been evaluated by a healthcare professional.

In summary, while the hard white bumps you are experiencing may be benign conditions such as pearly penile papules or sebaceous cysts, it is essential to have them evaluated by a medical professional to rule out any other potential issues. Early diagnosis and appropriate management can help alleviate any concerns and ensure your reproductive health is maintained.
