Lower back pain upon waking up?


I have been experiencing lower back pain after sleeping for a while.
It improves somewhat after I stretch upon waking up.
The pain radiates from the lumbar spine to the pelvis on both sides in a linear pattern, but it hasn't reached the lower back muscles yet.
