Red Spots After Self-Stimulation: Urology Concerns Explained - Urology

Follow-up on 146061 and 146122: Today, after addressing my own needs, that area with the red spots has become red again?

The image above shows the appearance after regression, while the one below shows that after self-stimulation, the area has started to become red again.
The redness in the pressed area can temporarily disappear, but it remains painless and itch-free.
I also noticed that the previous few instances were similar.
I forgot to mention that as long as there is no self-stimulation, it will regress, but once self-stimulation occurs, it will start to become slightly red again.
I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your response, doctor.

Red spots appearing after self-stimulation can be concerning, and it's important to understand the potential causes and implications. Based on the information provided, it seems that the red spots appear after self-stimulation but disappear when there is no sexual activity. This pattern suggests that the spots may be related to increased blood flow or irritation in the area due to the physical activity involved in self-stimulation.

When engaging in self-stimulation, the body experiences increased blood flow to the genital area, which can lead to temporary redness or spots. This is a normal physiological response, as the blood vessels dilate to accommodate increased blood flow during arousal and stimulation. The fact that the spots are not painful or itchy is a positive sign, indicating that there may not be an underlying infection or serious condition.

However, it is essential to consider other factors that could contribute to these symptoms. For instance, friction during self-stimulation can cause minor irritation or microtrauma to the skin, leading to temporary redness. Additionally, if there is any underlying skin condition, such as dermatitis or a fungal infection, this could also manifest as red spots that may become more pronounced after stimulation.

If the red spots persist, change in appearance, or are accompanied by other symptoms such as pain, itching, or discharge, it is advisable to seek medical attention. A healthcare professional can perform a thorough examination and may recommend tests to rule out any infections or other conditions, such as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or skin disorders.

In terms of self-care, consider the following recommendations:
1. Gentle Technique: Use a gentle technique during self-stimulation to minimize friction and irritation.

2. Lubrication: Consider using a water-based lubricant to reduce friction and protect the skin.

3. Hygiene: Maintain good hygiene by washing the genital area with mild soap and water before and after self-stimulation.

4. Observation: Keep track of any changes in the appearance of the spots or any new symptoms that may arise.

If you have engaged in any high-risk sexual behavior, it is crucial to get tested for STIs, as some infections can present with similar symptoms. Regular check-ups with a urologist or healthcare provider can help monitor your sexual health and address any concerns.

In conclusion, while the appearance of red spots after self-stimulation may be a benign response to increased blood flow or minor irritation, it is essential to remain vigilant. If symptoms persist or worsen, seeking medical advice is the best course of action to ensure your health and peace of mind.
