Involuntary muscle twitching?


My muscles randomly twitch, including my eyelids, abdomen, arms, and legs.
Sometimes the twitching frequency is very high and can last for more than a day.
This started in March 2021, and since then, I have undergone numerous tests at various medical centers, including blood tests, electromyography (EMG), CT scans, and MRIs, all of which have returned normal results.
I have insomnia and irritable bowel syndrome, as well as anxiety and depression.
The neurologist has tried many different medications, but none have been effective.
During my follow-up visits, the doctor seemed unsure of what to say to me.
Currently, I am taking Riluzole and Metoprolol, and I have been on them for over four months, but the muscle twitching persists, which is very distressing and severely impacts my daily routine and quality of life.
I found information online suggesting that this could be benign fasciculation syndrome.
Is there any treatment available for this condition? I maintain a regular schedule, do not smoke or drink alcohol, exercise regularly, and take dietary supplements such as B vitamins and fish oil.
I also control my diet, avoiding coffee and tea, and mostly drink plain water.
