Will I get pregnant?

Hello doctor, I would like to ask about my situation.
My last menstrual period was from June 20 to June 24, and I had intercourse with my boyfriend on June 25, the day after my period ended.
Is there a high chance of pregnancy? We used a condom the entire time, and there was no ejaculation inside; the condom did not break at all.
Today is July 10, and while taking a shower, I noticed a significant amount of clear, odorless discharge, similar to what I experience during orgasm, with a little bit of blood mixed in.
Is this normal? Could it be ovulation, or am I pregnant? I also have a slight dull ache in my lower abdomen and a very mild feeling of nausea.
According to my menstrual cycle tracking app, my next period is expected between July 23 and July 28.

Niming, 20~29 year old female. Ask Date: 2022/07/10

The chances of pregnancy are low, but if there is a delay in menstruation of more than one week, it is recommended to visit a gynecology clinic.

More Info

It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of uncertainty and anxiety regarding your potential pregnancy. Based on the information you've provided, let's break down your situation and symptoms to better understand what might be happening.

First, regarding your menstrual cycle: You mentioned that your last period was from June 20 to June 24, and you had unprotected intercourse on June 25, the day after your period ended. Since sperm can live inside the female reproductive tract for up to five days, the timing of your intercourse could potentially coincide with your ovulation, which typically occurs about 14 days before your next expected period. However, since you used a condom and it did not break, the likelihood of pregnancy is significantly reduced.

Now, concerning the symptoms you're experiencing: The clear, odorless discharge you noticed, especially if it resembles cervical mucus, can be a normal part of your menstrual cycle, particularly around ovulation. The presence of a small amount of blood in the discharge could be due to various reasons, including ovulation spotting, which is relatively common and usually harmless.
The mild cramping in your lower abdomen and slight nausea could also be attributed to hormonal changes associated with your menstrual cycle or ovulation. It's important to note that many women experience similar symptoms during these times, and they do not necessarily indicate pregnancy.

As for your next period, if your cycle is regular and you expect it between July 23 and July 28, it would be advisable to wait until after this date to take a home pregnancy test for the most accurate result. Testing too early can lead to false negatives, as the hormone hCG, which indicates pregnancy, may not be detectable until after a missed period.

If you continue to feel anxious about your symptoms or if your period is late, consider consulting with a healthcare provider. They can provide you with a more definitive answer through a blood test or ultrasound, which can detect pregnancy earlier than a home test.

In summary, while your symptoms could be related to your menstrual cycle, they do not definitively indicate pregnancy at this time. It's best to monitor your cycle and take a pregnancy test after your expected period date for clarity. If you have any further concerns or if your symptoms worsen, don't hesitate to reach out to a healthcare professional for personalized advice and support.
