Involuntary muscle twitching?


Hello, doctor! Recently, I have been experiencing occasional muscle twitching and facial spasms.
It feels like my face is on the verge of twitching, causing discomfort, particularly around the area near my eye socket close to my nose and the masseter muscle near my jaw, but it only occurs on the left side.
The muscle twitching also happens in my lower body, such as my thighs or buttocks.
One time, it was more severe when I was trying to lie down to sleep; my muscles suddenly started twitching continuously, almost as if they were forcing my legs to move.
This has occurred within the past week, with facial spasms happening about twice and leg muscle twitching only once.
I would like to know how to address this issue.
