In winter, the skin on the abdomen can become very itchy?
Hello doctor, for the past few years during winter, I have been experiencing intense itching on both sides of my lower abdomen and near my waist.
The itching becomes worse, especially when I shower with hot water.
The affected areas feel rough and gritty to the touch, and this condition has been worsening year by year, with both the severity and extent of the itching increasing compared to before.
In winter, I always tuck my pajamas into my pants, and I do the same when going out, to prevent my abdomen from being exposed to the wind or getting cold.
I also only use lukewarm water for bathing.
I am unsure of the cause, but the itching symptoms always appear in winter.
