Am I Pregnant? Symptoms and Concerns After Intimacy - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Are you pregnant?

Hello doctor, on February 3rd around 1 PM, I was intimate with my boyfriend.
He did not ejaculate, but there was a clear fluid that came out.
After that, we used our fingers to dry off, and he also rubbed his pants.
Then he touched about 1 cm below my clitoris, and although my labia did not open, there was some moisture.
My fingers slightly came into contact with that moisture, and I realized it quickly and dried off.
Is there a possibility of sperm remaining? Is there a chance of pregnancy?
On February 4th, around 12:30 PM, I experienced bleeding that resembled my menstrual period, which coincided with my usual cycle and the amount was similar to my regular menstruation.
Five days prior, I had symptoms like acne, irritability, mood swings, and breast tenderness.
The bleeding continued until February 10th, and there were also blood-colored membranes and string-like objects in the blood (which could not be absorbed by tissue or sanitary pads, and there was no other sexual contact prior).
Is this my period? If I have my period, does that mean I cannot be pregnant?
Afterward, my breasts decreased in size, and the acne lessened, but starting February 13th, I experienced fatigue and dull pain near my navel.
Could this be due to excessive stress?

Hello, it is recommended to practice safe behaviors to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections, while also preventing unintended pregnancies.
If your menstrual period is delayed, you can take a home pregnancy test or visit a gynecologist for an examination.
Thank you.

It sounds like you are experiencing a lot of anxiety and uncertainty regarding your potential pregnancy and the symptoms you are experiencing. Let's break down your concerns and provide some clarity.

First, regarding the possibility of pregnancy: While your partner did not ejaculate, it is important to note that pre-ejaculate fluid (pre-cum) can contain sperm. If any of that fluid came into contact with your vaginal area, there is a small chance of pregnancy, although it is generally lower than with full ejaculation. The symptoms you described, such as breast tenderness, irritability, and acne, can be associated with premenstrual syndrome (PMS) or early pregnancy.
The bleeding you experienced starting on February 4th, which coincided with your expected menstrual period, is likely your menstrual cycle. Menstrual bleeding typically indicates that you are not pregnant, especially if it follows your usual cycle pattern in terms of timing and flow. However, some women do experience light bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy, which can sometimes be mistaken for a period. The presence of clots or membranes in your menstrual flow is not uncommon and can occur due to hormonal changes.

As for the symptoms you experienced after your period, such as fatigue and discomfort near your belly button, these could indeed be related to stress and anxiety. The body can react to emotional stress with physical symptoms, including fatigue and discomfort. It’s essential to take care of your mental health during this time. If you find that your anxiety is overwhelming or persistent, consider speaking with a healthcare professional who can provide support and guidance.

In summary, based on the information you provided, it seems more likely that you are experiencing your menstrual cycle rather than early pregnancy. However, if you continue to have concerns or if your symptoms change, it would be wise to take a home pregnancy test or consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation. They can provide you with the most accurate information and help address any ongoing anxiety you may have about your reproductive health.
Remember, it’s perfectly normal to feel anxious about these situations, and seeking support from friends, family, or professionals can be very helpful. Take care of yourself, and don’t hesitate to reach out for help if you need it.
