Ejaculation
Hello: Recently, I have been experiencing a pain in the area where the left testicle connects to the penis (it's hard to describe, but it can also be referred to as near the testicle) just before ejaculation (at the moment right before ejaculation).
The pain feels like a soreness, as if the semen is passing through that area from the testicle, causing discomfort.
This pain occurs right before I feel the semen flowing into the penis, preparing for ejaculation.
I'm not sure when this started, but I can describe some possible causes from a while ago: 1.
Excessive masturbation 2.
Wearing tight dress pants, which caused discomfort after a while, leading me to switch to looser-fitting ones 3.
I have previously experienced trauma to the testicles from sports (being hit by a racket).
Could you help analyze the possible conditions? Thank you!

More Info
Experiencing testicular pain during ejaculation can be concerning and may stem from various causes. Understanding these potential causes is essential for addressing the issue effectively.
Possible Causes of Testicular Pain During Ejaculation
1. Overstimulation or Frequent Masturbation: Engaging in frequent masturbation can lead to temporary discomfort or pain in the testicles. This is often due to overstimulation of the nerves and tissues in the area, which can cause a sensation of pain or discomfort during ejaculation.
2. Tight Clothing: Wearing tight clothing, such as fitted trousers, can restrict blood flow and create pressure in the groin area. This pressure can lead to discomfort or pain in the testicles, especially during activities that increase blood flow, such as sexual arousal and ejaculation.
3. Trauma or Injury: Previous trauma to the testicles, such as being struck by a sports equipment (like a racket), can lead to lingering pain or sensitivity. Even if the injury occurred some time ago, it can result in chronic discomfort during ejaculation.
4. Epididymitis: This is an inflammation of the epididymis, the tube that carries sperm from the testicles. It can cause pain in the testicles, especially during ejaculation. This condition can be caused by infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), or other factors.
5. Varicocele: This condition involves enlarged veins within the scrotum and can lead to a dull ache or discomfort in the testicles, particularly during sexual activity or ejaculation.
6. Hernia: An inguinal hernia occurs when tissue protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles. This can cause pain in the groin and testicular area, especially during physical activity or straining.
7. Nerve Irritation: Sometimes, nerve irritation or compression in the pelvic region can lead to referred pain in the testicles during ejaculation.
Recommendations for Relief and Management
1. Modify Clothing Choices: Switch to looser-fitting underwear and pants to alleviate any pressure on the groin area. This can help reduce discomfort during sexual activities.
2. Limit Frequency of Masturbation: If you suspect that frequent masturbation is contributing to your discomfort, consider reducing the frequency to allow your body to recover.
3. Apply Cold Compresses: If you experience pain, applying a cold compress to the affected area can help reduce inflammation and provide relief.
4. Consult a Healthcare Provider: If the pain persists or worsens, it is crucial to seek medical advice. A healthcare provider can perform a physical examination and may recommend tests, such as an ultrasound, to rule out conditions like epididymitis, varicocele, or hernia.
5. Avoid Strenuous Activities: If you have recently experienced trauma to the area, it may be beneficial to avoid activities that could exacerbate the pain, such as heavy lifting or contact sports.
6. Consider Pain Management Options: Over-the-counter pain relief medications, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, may help alleviate discomfort. However, consult with a healthcare provider before taking any medication, especially if you have underlying health conditions.
Conclusion
Testicular pain during ejaculation can arise from various factors, including lifestyle choices, previous injuries, or underlying medical conditions. While some causes may be benign and self-limiting, others may require medical intervention. It is essential to listen to your body and seek professional help if the pain persists or is accompanied by other concerning symptoms, such as swelling, fever, or changes in urination. Early diagnosis and treatment can help prevent complications and ensure your reproductive health remains intact.
