Are you pregnant?
I would like to ask about my menstrual cycle.
It used to come regularly on the 18th of each month, but for the past two months, it has been irregular and arrived on the 21st instead.
However, on the 25th, I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend, and he ejaculated inside me.
Since then, I have been feeling unwell; my abdomen feels bloated, and sometimes I experience cramping.
Even slight physical activity causes pain.
My menstrual cycle has been irregular, so what is the likelihood of pregnancy with internal ejaculation?

Hello, based on your description, the chances of pregnancy are not high.
However, it is not possible to determine pregnancy solely based on subjective symptoms.
I recommend that if your next menstrual period is still delayed, you should take a urine test to check for pregnancy.
Thank you! Wishing you peace and health.

More Info
When it comes to the possibility of pregnancy, especially with irregular menstrual cycles, it can be quite confusing. Based on your description, you have experienced a shift in your menstrual cycle, which can be influenced by various factors including stress, hormonal changes, and lifestyle alterations. The fact that your period was originally regular but has now become irregular may indicate that something is affecting your hormonal balance.
You mentioned that your period, which typically arrives on the 18th of each month, was delayed to the 21st for the last two months. This change alone can be a sign of various underlying issues, including stress, changes in weight, or other health conditions. Irregular periods can also complicate the assessment of pregnancy, as they make it difficult to determine when ovulation occurred.
Regarding the sexual encounter with your boyfriend on the 25th, if he ejaculated inside you, there is indeed a possibility of pregnancy, especially if this occurred during your fertile window. The fertile window typically spans from about five days before ovulation to the day of ovulation itself. If your cycles are around 30 days, ovulation usually occurs about 14 days before your next period is due. However, with irregular cycles, pinpointing ovulation can be challenging.
The symptoms you are experiencing, such as abdominal bloating and cramping, can be associated with both premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and early pregnancy. PMS symptoms can include bloating, mood swings, and abdominal pain, which can mimic early pregnancy symptoms. However, the presence of these symptoms does not definitively indicate pregnancy, especially since they can occur in conjunction with your menstrual cycle.
To determine whether you might be pregnant, the most reliable method is to take a home pregnancy test. These tests are designed to detect the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which is produced shortly after a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining. It is generally recommended to wait until at least the first day of your missed period for the most accurate result, but some sensitive tests can detect pregnancy a few days before a missed period.
If your period does not arrive as expected, or if you continue to experience discomfort, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare provider. They can perform a blood test for pregnancy, which is more sensitive than a urine test, and can also evaluate any other potential causes for your symptoms. Additionally, if you are experiencing significant pain or discomfort, it is important to seek medical attention to rule out any other conditions such as ovarian cysts or infections.
In summary, while there is a possibility of pregnancy given the circumstances you described, the symptoms you are experiencing could also be attributed to PMS or other factors related to your irregular menstrual cycle. Taking a pregnancy test and consulting with a healthcare provider will provide you with the clarity you need regarding your situation.
