The spots inside the foreskin?
I have some red spots inside my foreskin, but they are not itchy or painful.
The situation has been like this for a long time.
Recently, I have had sexual intercourse, but I always used a condom.
Additionally, my foreskin is a bit long, and I can retract it to expose the glans when erect.
I hope to understand the cause.
Thank you.

Hello: The skin appears normal, but if it enlarges, you should seek medical attention.
Additionally, my foreskin is a bit long; during an erection, I can push it down to expose the glans, which indicates phimosis.
Wishing you good health...

Understanding red spots under the foreskin can be concerning, especially when they persist over a long period. Based on your description, it seems that you have red spots under the foreskin that are not accompanied by itching or pain. This is a crucial detail, as it helps narrow down potential causes.
The presence of red spots under the foreskin can be attributed to several factors. One common cause is irritation or inflammation, which can occur due to friction, poor hygiene, or the use of certain soaps or products that may not be suitable for sensitive areas. Another possibility is a condition known as balanitis, which is inflammation of the glans (the head of the penis) and can sometimes extend to the foreskin. Balanitis can be caused by infections (bacterial or fungal), irritants, or skin conditions.
Since you mentioned that you have had sexual intercourse while using condoms, it is less likely that sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are the cause, especially if you have been practicing safe sex. However, some STIs can present with minimal symptoms, so it is always wise to consider this possibility, especially if there are any changes in your sexual health or if you have new partners.
Another potential cause of red spots could be Fordyce spots, which are small, painless, pale bumps that can appear on the penis and are completely harmless. These are sebaceous glands that are visible due to their location and are not a cause for concern.
Given that you have a longer foreskin that can be pushed back to reveal the glans, it is essential to ensure proper hygiene. Accumulation of smegma (a combination of dead skin cells and oils) can lead to irritation and inflammation, which might manifest as red spots. Regular cleaning with warm water and mild soap can help prevent this.
If the red spots persist, change in appearance, or if you develop any new symptoms such as pain, itching, or discharge, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional. They can perform a physical examination and may recommend tests to rule out infections or other underlying conditions.
In summary, while red spots under the foreskin can be benign, they can also indicate irritation, inflammation, or other conditions that may require attention. Maintaining good hygiene and monitoring any changes in your symptoms is crucial. If you have concerns, seeking medical advice is the best course of action to ensure your sexual health and overall well-being.
