Hello, pharmacist: I would like to ask if taking euclydan (50 mg) can cause an increase in blood pressure as a side effect? My father originally had a blood pressure of 80/120 mmHg, but recently it has risen to 140/90 mmHg.

Nicametate 50mg (Euclydan) is a vasodilator approved in Taiwan for the indication of "peripheral vascular circulation disorders." Side effects related to the circulatory system may include palpitations and facial flushing.
Currently, there are no reports of elevated blood pressure as a side effect.
Other side effects may include nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, dizziness, headache, and allergic reactions (such as rash).
