Hello Doctor: I am nineteen years old and have always been troubled by my short stature.
I often search for related information online and understand that the key to continuing growth is whether the growth plates are still open, as well as the importance of cartilage proliferation.
Recently, I came across a report about collagen, which has various benefits, including beauty effects.
One type, type II collagen, is a component of cartilage, and the report suggested that it may promote cartilage proliferation, among other benefits.
After reading this, I was quite excited, so I would like to ask the doctor whether taking this type of collagen could have any additional benefits for height growth? (The report did not mention this, as it focused on beauty aspects.) Additionally, my nose bridge is not high, and I know that part of the nose bridge is made up of cartilage.
