Joint-related issues leading to weakness?
I am currently 31 years old and have gradually started experiencing joint issues since I was 27.
It began with my elbow joint, then my ankle joint, and recently I have also started having problems with my left shoulder joint (initially it was only on one side, but it has gradually affected both sides).
The issue is that my joints become stiff; for instance, my elbow joint feels rigid, and my entire arm becomes weak.
It feels similar to when my finger joints are stiff, and I have to crack them to restore normal function, but this happens every 3 to 5 minutes.
If I have done strenuous work or am overly fatigued that day, I can't even crack them, and I end up feeling weak and uncomfortable throughout the night.
I only feel normal again after sleeping and cracking them in the morning.
When I researched my symptoms online, I initially thought it might be arthritis, so I went to a major hospital for an evaluation.
I had X-rays taken at New Taipei City Tucheng Hospital (Orthopedics) and Pingtung Veterans General Hospital (Rehabilitation).
Both doctors said that at my young age, it is unlikely to have arthritis.
The X-rays showed that my bones are healthy and there doesn't seem to be any significant issues.
However, when I described my problems, I still did not receive any answers.
I suspect that my poor sleeping posture might be contributing to these issues, as I also frequently experience neck stiffness.
