I underwent lumbar discectomy surgery at the end of last year and am currently in recovery. How can I use diet to aid my recovery?


I underwent lumbar spine surgery at the end of last year and am currently in recovery.
How can I use diet to aid my recovery? I had the surgery using the Renaiss spinal arm technique, which is supposed to be quicker than traditional surgery, but I often experience soreness in the lower back and above the buttocks, possibly due to the metal implants.
Additionally, my left knee joint feels somewhat stiff, which may be due to aging.
I am taking glucosamine, and I also have a history of lupus erythematosus.
